About Me

Hip-Positive Music-- is at the heart of what DEEP LIGHT CAFE is all about. Adult Contemporary Music that unapologetically crosses over to all ages and races. With a sound evolving from the “Old-School” vibes of artists such as Macy Gray, Sade, Sting, The Brand New Heavies, Spearhead, Sly Stone, Earth Wind & Fire — Deep Light Café arrives into the new soundscape that is being explored by artists such as Pink, Natasha Bedingfield, Black Eyed Peas, India Arie, Justin Timberlake and the like. The self-titled debut album by Deep Light Café features a unique signature blend of classical guitars with deep-in-the-pocket drums and bass, providing the perfect setting for Jacqueline Clemons’ amazing, one of a kind voice and the band’s positive message of universal love.Deep Light Café fills a gap in the musical marketplace, populated by like-minded people who crave music that fits a lifestyle of social, ecological and spiritual consciousness.Once the band members created their sound, they began playing their new tracks for everyone who wished to listen — fans, friends, family, people on the street, people in clubs and restaurants. The response was immediate, positive, and always went something like this ------- “I want the CD! Where can I get it?” Well here it is!
Enjoy!
