Recently, Crimewave has created a webzine with music reviews, movie reviews, web based articles, interviews, MP3s, and previous issues to order .. at www.crimewavemagazine.com . All of Crimewave's print new and old such as reviews, interviews, stories, contests, and etc can now be found on our webzine. History
Crimewave Magazine was founded by longtime partners in crime David Pike ( Film Director ), Casey Dewey( DJ Dewtron ), Eric Meyer, and Jason Decker who also dabble in free form media, subversion, and dissent. In the summer of 2003, Crimewave released their first issue and has been entertaining the public since with stories on pop culture, leftist politics, forgotten Tucson lore, and plenty of ranting and raving. As of 2005 Crimewave is no longer being made in print-form, instead we have moved to a DVDzine format. Crimewave Magazine from this point is being solely run by David Pike( Film Director ) and has hired a new staff member Jaime Gutierrez. Our first issue on DVDzine format was issue 5, released in October of 2005 and issue 6 was released in April of 2006. We released our last DVDzine & Print issue on December 2nd, with the help of our new staff member Paula Garrido. Crimewave Magazine is now dead.
