About Me

Charlotte Birch burst onto the scene back in 1996 after giving up a ten year career in lingerie modelling to try out Dj’ing. Within only a matter of months she became resident for Moneypennys and Decadence playing funky house and classics, when in 1999 she turned to the hard side of dance which then secured her 3rd residency for legendary super club Sundissential. From this point on, the only way was up and Charlotte has continued to repeat her success time and time again. She was spotted by A&R of Alphamagic and thrown into the studio with little to no experience and came out with her first release “Gladiator which entered the top 10 in the national dance music charts. As experience grew Charlotte nailed residencies with almost every club she went to, including Slinky, Frisky, Roar, Planet Potato and a lot of other leading nights in the industry and even went on to host her own successful night Dropzone. Alongside these she is a regular guest at the most popular clubs up and down the UK, including: Polysexual, Frantic, Tidy, Lashed, Virus, Hotdog and many more. Not content with her home shores Charlotte has propelled herself to International waters and toured Australia, New Zealand, America and Holland. The USA has been graced with her exciting talent seven times throughout her career, touring throughout major cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. She has toured Australia four times spanning over Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and NZ in Auckland and Wellington. Nearer to home Charlotte has been dominating the Dutch masses playing for hugely successful HQ parties, 4 Elements and Street Parade Rotterdam. Crowds have topped 40,000 on a regular basis, totally confirming her place on Dutch soil!! Over the summer months you can expect to see Charlotte in Ibiza, Falaraki, Benidorm and Kavos in conjunction with many brand names such as Sundissential, Wildchild, Slinky etc. Adding even more strings to her bow, Charlotte had her own record label Dropzone Records which after 4 releases managed to clock up appearances on over 6 compilation albums including “Lashed, “Extreme Euphoria, “Tidy, “Hard dance Republic and “Goodgreef to name but a few. Her releases have had regular air play on radio 1, amongst other popular (non-hard house) stations. Her discography continues to grow with over 20 productions under her belt with her most successful track “Rompa Stompa on Tidy Trax reaching number 7 in the national dance music chart. Charlotte has graced the decks on many radio shows including live mixes, interviews and many magazines including M8, Mixmag, Muzic & Ministry. 2006 is already set to be one of Charlotte’s best years yet, With jaw-dropping production in the pipeline and future studio dates booked in to showcase her new style, this will be included in her future performances. Her new sound includes more techno elements and dirty house, as well as her usual old and new hard dance. Exciting year ahead we think!!
