Noah Argeanas has always been influenced by music. Born in New Mexico , at only five years old, Noah first recalled being in tune with sound. “I have always seemed to have that passion for tearing up records, my mother told me even when I was a young kid, and I was always scratching records. She didn’t like it too much! “. What really sparked the love for electronic music was when Noah couldn’t find the particular sound that he was looking for, so he decided he would make it! “I have always had an interest in music. Strangely enough it was based around the Spanish style of music.” This is how the passion all began…
Travels took Noah Argeanas to Asia where he became intrigued by the intoxicating Tokyo nightlife. Passion was instantly found in Velfarre. “The whole place was alive, much more than anything that I had been witness to in the States.” The influential musical styles were trance, hard house, and energy. Noah was motivated by the emerging energy from the crowds of thousands.
It all changed at the Ferry Corsten’s debut of Together at the Makuhari Messe Summer of Trance by Avex, an unforgettable show! At that point the love of music for Noah turned to a life long passion, there was no turning back. Inspiration and people whose lives were dedicated to music surrounded him during his years in Asia . “I had always looked up to Remo-con, my close friend, and DJ Sindrome, he was one of the first to get me started in DJ’ing in clubs in Asia .”
Having spent five years DJ’ing throughout Asia and Australia , Noah Argeanas developed a unique, yet incomparable technical finesse. How would you compare his style? “I wouldn’t say there is a “classic Noah”, simply because I experimented in all sorts of genres of music when I first started. But it all turned back to hard dance.”
What sets Noah apart from other DJ’s is his impressive music collection. He started building the collection when he was 19. “I have quite a bit now! But even from a playing aspect, I love all music so I have always learned to blend all genres together. But I love sounds that are faster and harder.”
Soon after Noah Argeanas was introduced to Remo-con, they became friends and co-produced the song La Luz, which was played throughout the underground clubs and parties in Tokyo . In a relatively short time, Noah played at various clubs and became the resident DJ at i-Lounge in Roppongi, which served as a stage for relentless, hard sounds. Out of all the clubs, MORPH was Noah’s favorite place to play!
Away from the turntables, Noah's attention turned to producing. “I was around 14 when I got my first setup for music production. Noah was inspired by quite a few DJ’s and songs, favorite such as Gigi D’Agostino’s Another Day. “The first time I felt success was when I had produced some songs that were comparable to the “big names”. I was working on a track and a friend of mine asked if that was the new Yoji? I was like “Thanks!”
Having conquered dance floors throughout Asia, Australia , and in the United States , the future DJ Noah Argeanas promises further success! Yet count on Noah to remain grounded and focused on his passion for music! None of the hype matters, he will deliver consistently flawless and energetic performances – be it to a group of friends or at a club packed with thousands. “My goals are simple – make music, play music, eat some Thai food, move to Spain . I am looking to always progress, push past the boundaries. Continue to play it techy and hard! Yet, I’m content to sit back into some chill and sound development from time to time.”
In 2007, Noah formed his own cutting edge label Massive Sound Manipulation (MSM).
“I have really found my appreciation for my time overseas and the influence it had on my progression. I am now inspired by my new love in life. She knows who she is! She is my number one fan! I have brought my influence to my hometown and in the future will look to return overseas!” Noah’s story is one of living out his passion through life long friendships, honest partnerships, hard work, and dedication. Noah Argeanas is simply Great at what he does; he is a musician in the truest sense of the word.
