Vera Medina

Singer, producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. I've started as a jazz and mpb singer, but once I've got crazy about electronic music I've decided to create my own composition mixing acoustic and electronic components. It's a long journey of discovering new sounds, tones and techniques. My first album was released on October 2006 by Lua Music. Some of my songs were released by well known labels in Brazil and abroad (Japan, France, Italy). I'm also an artist of Juno Digital, DJ Download and Release Records. My background includes classes and workshops with Jeff Gardner, Wynton Marsalis, Cida Moreyra, Wilson Curya, Elza & Paulinho Nogueira, Ron Carter, Nancy Miranda and others who also influenced my actual playing. I'm also a singing and audio production teacher as I believe that teaching is one of the ways of sharing experiences and exchanging ideas.
