Sadly, I have no witty sayings for you. Maybe next time.

About Me

I am the Entertainment Editor for Crimespree magazine . Crime Spree is a bi-monthly magazine about the crime genre and the artists that create it. The magazine is for both fans of crime fiction(novels, films and even comics) as well as for the professionals(booksellers, authors, editors and agents) of the field. We feature articles about books, films, the publishing industry and pretty much anything under the sun. You can regularly find stuff on sports, music, films and as well as mystery novels. In addition, there are weekly updates at Crimespree Cinema . At Crimespree Cinema, we feature previews and reviews of formcoming theatrical releases as well as DVDs.

As for who I am....I am a home owner. My house was that of my beloved Grandmother, Feronia Mattix. I live with my dear wife Jill, my feline roommate Hannah and my cousin Randy. Jill and Randy are my closest friends. Hannah is a bit tempermental at times, but is still a good roommate. I should also mention Doc and C.K. Dexter Haven, Randy's cats, that also occupy the upstairs with him.

I have big plans for the house.....but have done just a fraction of them thus far. Check my pictures to see the weeping white pine that replaced a very evil flag pole. If I have my way, the backyard will have more plants than grass and the porch will be a four season semi-tropical hangout. Of course these things require money and ambition.

Like my dear friend Jon Jordan, my home is filled with books, movies and cds. More cds and movies than Mr. Jordan, but NOWHERE NEAR the number of books. I have a massive book collection, but Jon rivals some public libraries.

I collect live recordings and have tons of U2, Los Lobos, GnR, Marie McKee, Daniel Lanois and Iron Maiden. What can I say? I have varied tastes.

I am a film geek as well. I know more about movies than one really should. Like my reading, my taste in movies tends towards noir and mystery based. I must confess I love a good romantic comedy as well.
