About Me

I'm the author of 4 novels with a fifth on the way. I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I can't sing good, but I can sing loud. I found a ring in a cave once. The guy with the beard and pointy hat says to throw it into a volcano. I like red wine, cold beer, hot chicken wings and tepid pool water. I'm a world traveler and can speak mallard. What? You're still reading? Okay, here's some real information. I earned my Ph.D. in English at the University of Southern Mississippi where they beat me with rolled up newspapers and fed me raw liver. My first novel GUN MONKEYS was nominated for the Edgar Award. My work has been translated into French. Italian, Spanish and Japanese. My new book is a bit of a departure from my crime stuff. It's called GO-GO GIRLS OF THE APOCALYPSE, and Simon & Schuster will publish it next year on their Touchstone/Fireside imprint. My Marvel Comics debut PUNISHER MAX SPECIAL: "Little Black Book" hits stores in June 2008.Also, check out BLOGPOCALYPSE, my blog here: www.victorgischler.blogspot.com
