Tremain have been described as 'The sound of Nu Soul Groove'. They are centered around three song writers/musicians: Leonie Tremain (22), Andy Dixon (26) and Amba Tremain (26).
Tremain played the acoustic circuit in 2003-05... but 2006 saw them take their sound to a whole new level. Now targeting a specific genre of music, they began writing new material, building a new sound and working on creating an album.
By the summer of 2006 Tremain had begun gigging as a five piece with a bigger sound now enhanced by a rhythm section. 2007 saw them continue to play top venues all over England, write a mass of new material and finally, come into their own and create 'The Tremain Sound'.
Tremain have seen 2008 in with their music being registered with the UK Charts Company and, from Spring 2008, Tremain's music will become available for sale across the globe via distribution networks such as iTunes.
