Alice Edun was born in Saint Petersburg(Russia) to a Nigerian father and Russian mother.She moves with the family toAfrica where she begins to build her Gospelbackground in school and a baptist church choir.When she moved to Italy she continued to singGospel music from 1998 onwards and took part inthe Milano Gospel Festival.
While all this was happening, Edun was also performing regularly inside and outsideItaly.
Her collaboration with Off Limits Production beganin 2004, when she decided to respond to BennyBenassi's -Benny wants you- appeal, throughBenny's website. Benny chose Edun for herwonderful voice out of hundreds and hundreds of demos. In 2005 she recorded startling and extremely evocativevocals as a soloist and is the featured artist onthe track "Who's Knockin?" by FB. The recordcontains mixes by Ferry Corsten and Benny Benassi and is releasedby Dance Therapy,Holland. "Who's knockin?" isavailable across Europe on the iTunes Music Store.
That same year she also made her solo debut with "Put Them Up". This track would end up becoming a Dance anthem globally two years later, especially in the United States, where "Put 'Em Up" is already her biggest breakthrough hit on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart, where it peaked at number 2 in its August 25, 2007 issue.
