However, focusing on his own style of music Esskei says IM NOT a poet, a singer, a rapper. I AM an artist. Through understanding, that his gifts was given to him by GOD, he cannot be boxed into any set format. Writing with his spiritual understanding to deal with the soul and with his intellect to deal with the flesh, he combines his words using a 70s soul urban/contemporary mixed with gospel, hip hop, r&b, funk, jazz and house sounds to fit the mood of each word.
