What can one say about Cori Green, the undeniably talented singer and fashionably-forward chameleon that took the Toronto scene by storm one year ago? For the most part, she revealed herself to be "Heaven Sent" to an industry plagued by a throng of "been there/done that" R‘n’B/Soul artists. Where others lacked the originality and drive that could only push an artist to the next level, Green was hard at work with producer Wil Orellana, perfecting her signature sound, which is felt through her writing and her genious ability to improvise vocally. Since then, the singer has managed to up the musical ante by releasing singles such as, "All U Need", "Heaven Sent Remix" and "I Would". All have allowed the needle to drop on fail-proof hit that showcases a more seasoned Cori Green. Lately, Green has actively been making the rounds at different venues around Toronto and beyond, frequently visiting various colleges and radio stations with the spirit of a true conqueror. It is no wonder that her music has proven to be a success both on the Canadian urban underground scene and on the Net, receiving as many as 3000 hits and counting on her MySpace page, as well as regular airplay since November 2006 on commercial and urban stations, garnering her the admiration of fans around the globe. She eagerly looks forward to bringing to the masses her upcoming EP: The Singles Collection. As she gears up for the challenges ahead, mainly touring and promoting her music outside of Canada, Ms. Green is proving once again that talent, hard work and determination can only have the side effect of making her "All U Need".- Cindy Narcisse
