About Me

Besides being lost in my own state of consciousness.... I have been married to David Jones for nearly 8!!! years now. We have two wonderful and beautiful girls, Alecia and Zana who are my life. We spend our time enjoying Denver, and hiking, camping and just breathing in the Rocky Mountain air. I love Colorado.I'm a writer, an artist, a musician, but mostly a dreamer. My mind is generally lost in some other reality. ****************************************** ************* Na innis do run do dcharaide gorach, no do dnamhaid glic. Tell not thy mind to thy foolish friend, nor to thy wise enemy.
You're 65% Irish
You're very Irish, and most likely from Ireland.
(And if you're not, you should be!) How Irish Are You? :)
You Are A Chestnut Tree
You are a born diplomat with a well developed sense of justice.
And even though you're impressive and intimidating, you're also fun to be around.
You can be irritated easily, and you sometimes act superior.
Nevertheless, you are sensitive of others feelings and very loyal.
Sometimes you feel misunderstood and are fiercely close to those who know you best. What's Your Celtic Horoscope? I LOVE history, especially medieval/renaissance. I love my name. I didn't used to. Jennifer is common, and is derived from Guinevere. What most don't know, is that Guinevere, in its ancient language, is pronounced very much the same as 'Jennifer'. Cool, huh?

My Interests

Things I love: History. Literature. Celtic Music. Scotland. Cooking. Traveling. Gardening. Hiking. Colorado. Good food. Good friends. Good times. Learning new and wonderful things. Like Gaelic. Tha beagan Gàidhlig agam.

I'd like to meet:

Christian Bale? ONE of the most beautiful men on this earth....I might settle for Gerard Butler....Just to MEET them, really. I have all the man I need in David.

Music:

I'm a big celtic music fan, it's what I listen to most the time. Check out the Irish and Celtic Music Podcast! Go ahead...click on it...it's right over there---

Movies:

Walk the Line, Phantom of the Opera, Braveheart, Beowulf and Grendel (the Butler one), almost anything Christian Bale... Of course I love all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Castaway is an all time favorite. The Prestige is AWESOME. The 300. The Changeling. A dozen or so more I can't think of at this moment....

Television:

We don't watch television, but I do love Mario Batali :) ..and I'm still ripped that Firefly didn't make it... We do watch movies now and again, and series discs. Scrubs is a favorite.

Books:

Recent reads: The Scottish Chiefs, Beowulf, Ivor Brown's Shakespeare. Dumbing us Down. JUST FINISHED Robert the Bruce, King of Scots by Ronald McNair Scott. I must say that he is my favorite historical figure of all time. His bravery is legendary. He gave his everything for Scotland, for the love of his country only, with little reward. I feel like the Braveheart movie didn't give him a fair shake. He has far more heroic feats under his belt than William Wallace, and most are backed up by history. Truly wonderful. A gallant, bold knight that won a kingdom with his strength and valor. Also, he is part of my ancestry. How cool is that?

Heroes:

Robert the Bruce
