I display art of mine and others as well. And here are some COVER SONGS I really like:
HERE ARE SOME JAZZIER SONGS, OR TRACKS WITH A LOOPING PEDAL:I started playing the harmonica in 1995 and the guitar shortly thereafter. Though never having formal training on the harmonica, I was a disciplined self-learner, and began with a book of Blues Traveler, and honed my craft by playing impromptu blues in high school.
About 3 months of guitar lessons gave me just enough information to be dangerous, and I swiftly wanted to create music. With such a strong desire to create songs after the very first day of picking up the guitar, I was compelled to learn what would work for the music I wanted to create, and this caused me to develop a unique style that incorporated elements from the jazz, jam band, traditional rock, and dissonant music.
Above all is my belief that a song is more then the sum of its parts, and I try to create music that is expressive of this sentiment. Paramount in this creation, is the desire to push the songs to sound as unique and emotive as possible in their own right. It is music more then anything in the world that can express raw feeling; And to capture and take part in that is a wonderful thing. This is why I play music, and this is why I have this website. I hope that you can experience the same joy that I do out of music, and thank you for taking the time to share in this music of mine.
