Contemporary artist living in Newport Beach, California. I work at Disney as an artist by day(no we are not hiring) and paint at home by night. My interests vary from painting constantly to hanging out with my friends. I love to support my friends and go to their art/music shows on weekends. Hey, I may sound like a fuckin' nerd, but I already did that bar/club shit when I was a youngster, all I got out of it was a criminal record and a bad liver!!
My paintings take sometimes months to complete, depending on size. I work in the Old French manner of painting, very thin oil glazes built up in three layers creating a "jewel-like" finish to each of them. I show these paintings in and around Los Angeles. To see more twisted paintings and upcoming art shows in and around L.A. click: www.jasonmaloneyart.com
