Shadowjack is a music project created by Shane Semler (a.k.a. Edhdward Spengler) His main influences are Industrial/Coldwave and Doom/Stoner Metal. Throw in some Shoegazer, Trip-Hop, Goth and Pop for good measure. An odd combination to be sure but being someone who gets bored with only one type or music, perhaps not unexpected. He will soon release a download only collection of four songs called the "Insect Boy EP." He is now recording tracks for a new album tentatively titled "Sidereal." "Sidereal" will infuse elements of Stoner Rock, Doom Metal and psychedelia into the mix of electronic purcussion and rhythms.

He is a skilled producer and has produced two albums for The Dark Aeons, a Psychedelic-Goth-Eletro-Metal project he and his brother collaborated on for several years and one album for Industrial Metal act Chaotica. He has remixed tracks for such artists as gODHEAD, 3d House of Beef and Unwoman and has contributed a track to the Abney Park tribute/remix album "Twisted & Broken."
