About Me

MyGen Profile Generator Structural Interference was started in the winter of 2000 by Jeff Harness. The style at the time was distorted, dance oriented Electro-Industrial - sample heavy, and most of the time not serious by any means. This was the first stab at music for the founding member. In late 2002 thru early 2004 Structural Interference was thrown to the back-burner to pursue a similar musical project with Gale Force in Protocol X. The project saw a member swap and a few finished tracks in that time period. In early 2004 Harness left Protocol X for personal reasons. By mid 2004 Harness was already hard at work on new Structural Interference material. It was different this time, however. It was more serious. It had meaning and feeling. After a few times in the studio with Harness band members, Johnnie Smith, and Mike Edwards were added to the roster. Fast forward now to late 2006. The listeners are increasing, and a small independent label has signed us on. Structural Interference will officially become part of KANEDA RECORDS roster in early 2007. This signing will be followed by a KANEDA RECORDS Compilation, and our first full length album "STATIC". It's getting interesting now!

It's been overhauled. The spirit of the original remains. Now, however it is a more complex and flowing beast. This is the sound of the new SI. We hope you enjoy.
