Some things I like: flowers (especially spring bulbs, lilacs, daisies, and roses), bird-watching, crisp autumn days, rain storms, the Adirondack Mountains, swimming, the ocean, compassionate people, the night sky, sleeping, comfort, writing poetry (when I'm inspired), fractals, trees, garnets and other gemstones/rocks/minerals, crossword puzzles (at times), good coffee, cigarettes and FOOD!!!
Some things I hate: nasty people, dieting(!), people who are controlling, war, violence, brutality, close-mindedness, boredom, pain, suffering, disease, fear

My Interests

THE NATURE OF REALITY... Is the world going to end in 2012, or will there be a spiritual awakening? Does God exist? Can consciousness create reality in some way? Does the "Law of Attraction" actually work? Are there really Lightworkers who incarnated on this planet to help mankind? What is the significance of synchronicity? Why do so many people always "catch" the digital clock when it reads 11:11 (the "11:11 Phenomenon")? These are some of the things I wonder about.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet real, honest, down-to-earth, compassionate, empathetic people who have a sense of humor about themselves. And, I'd like to meet...Trent Reznor

Music:

NINE INCH NAILS, Nirvana, Courtney Love, Tori Amos, Chopin, Marilyn Manson and many more. I have eclectic tastes.

Movies:

Contact (based on the Carl Sagan novel), Impromptu (about the love affair between George Sand and Chopin)

Television:

I usually don't have enough patience to sit and watch T.V. I usually just watch the news. But sometimes I'll watch "House" or a science or historical show. I like to listen to talk radio, especially Art Bell and George Noory (Coast to Coast AM).

Books:

New Age stuff, Dan Brown books, Sylvia Plath, T.S. Eliot, various poets, George Sand biographies, science fiction. To be truthful, I don't read as much as I should, and I can rarely finish a book. I often just skim through books and pick out what interests me at the moment.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, Kurt Cobain, Trent Reznor, Carl Sagan, George Sand and others
