Bryan Olsheski

Mother and father both musicians. Started alto at 10, though wanted to play drums first! Graduated Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati '95. Worked on cruise ships, moved to London where I played at a lot of clubs over there. 606, Bulls Head, Pizza Express, etc. Performed with Wes Anderson, Kenny Garrett, Claudio Roditi, Slide Hampton, Temptations, Four Tops, Spinners, Jack McDuff, Steve Winwood and others. My focus and influence has been mainly in the modern/straight-ahead jazz vein than anything else but enjoy playing other styles. Currently have a cd in the tenor/organ tradition called "Sound Impression" that's available for purchase on my website, bryanolsheski.com. Teach and play in Columbus now. My band is available for hired performances and private functions as I am also available for teaching private lessons and group clinics.
