Two Hour Change (2HC) is Boston’s hottest up & coming funk & soul experience: an energetic 7 piece unit (vocalist, horn & rhtyhm section) that fuses r&b, soul, funk, pop, jazz, & hiphop, into their groove-heavy, spirited, original songs and cover adaptations of some of the work by legendary artists in similiar genres, including Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Earth, Wind, & Fire, Marvin Gaye, Prince, Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Alicia Keys & Michael Jackson to name a few.
Each band member brings forth an energy and high level of musicality, and it all comes across in their performance. A tight-knit horn section of tenor saxophone and trumpet rounded off with some of Boston's most groovy rhythm players sets the stage for Two Hour Change, so sit back, relax, and put a quarter in to hear the sweet, sweet sounds.
