Voodoo Organist

The devil made me do it.

About Me

For the past five years, the Voodoo Organist has been spreading his gospel of salvation through sin all over the country. He tours constantly, and has played over 500 shows from coast to coast. He's shared the stage with many great acts, including Th' Legendary Shack Shakers, Black Heart Procession, Bob Log III, Captured! By Robots, and Hasil Adkins. For the first 4 years he did everything himself, including booking, releasing cds, press, promotion, etc. He has released 5 cds, and has racked up over 100 press articles. His songs have been featured in the indie horror movies Return of the Living Dead 4, Die You Zombie Bastards, and 100 Tears. He performed as a solo act for the first three years until he enlisted drummer extraordinaire Robin Kennon. Although just a 2-piece, they make the racket and have the energy of a full band. VO's sound is hard to categorize, yet instantly recognizable. Playing everything from industrial waltzes to drunken mambos, from garage punk gospel rave ups to swinging exotic demonic blues, the Voodoo Organist will steer your conga line straight to hell, and you'll be dancing like the devil the whole way down.
