Brand New UKTHRASH Compilation CD/Vinyl Featuring APEX. Avaliable from www.resiliencerecords.com
Apex were formed in late 2000. Long story short, for about the last 3 years we've been Si Frost, Alec McGowan, Dale Gilburt and Nathan McNaughton Hetherington, and have been playing all over The South of England regularly. Apex are heavily influenced by 80s thrash, Sabbath-esque doom, the odd dodgy timing, double bass, Cartoons, fast solos and much good brew, etc.
Alec, founder member and quality lead guitarist left to persue education, n' all that jazz, and was briefly replaced by Ben Thomason from Lid, before Dale John Gilburt III replaced his faggot ass. To fill the void left by The Chin, Lee Morris Tiley was asked to be a permanent member of the band, and now performs Bass duties. Apex will be recording their next demo from next week, and are actively Thrashing in and around the UK.
