Classic Albums Festival 2008
We will be hosting our second Classic Albums Festival in May 2008. The shows will take place every Friday and Saturday throughout the month and will feature a leading tribute band each night performing a classic album by the artist they are a tribute to in full plus a ’’Best of’’ set!
Heres our line up for 2008...

Saturday May 3rd: Depeche Mode tribute - Speak And Spell performing Violator
Friday May 9th: AC/DC tribute - Led DC performing Highway To Hell
Saturday May 10th: Pink Floyd tribute - Breathe performing The Wall AND Dark Side Of The Moon
Friday May 16th: Pantera tribute - 101% Pantera performing A Vulgar Display of Power
Saturday May 17th: ZZ Top tribute - Trez Hombrez performing Fandango
Friday May 23rd: Jimi Hendrix tribute - Dolly Dagger performing The Jimi Hendrix Concerts
Saturday May 24th: Ian Dury & The Blockheads tribute - The Blox performing New Boots & Panties
Friday May 30th: David Bowie tribute - The Thin White Duke performing The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars
REGULAR EVENTS:
’’Wednesday Brighton Band Showcase’’
A weekly event dedicated to showcasing the exceptional amount of original talent in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas. However, bands from slightly further afield with a dedicated following are also welcome to participate.
Each Wednesday will feature as many as 6 bands per night!
The nights will be primarily focusing on Rock and Indie bands but we are prepared to broaden out into other styles of music to a certain extent.
Each band must be able to play approximately 30 minutes of original material, no cover versions are to be performed on the evening.
Any band that brings in an audience of 30 or more people will be offered a Friday or Saturday slot. As customers enter the venue they will be asked which band they have come for and a tally will be made.
Bands are also given a free DVD of their performance!
