"We're Not Who You Think We Are" out May 12th

About Me

Our single "WE’RE NOT WHO YOU THINK WE ARE" (PSR1DD) is out on Monday May 12th
Some people have said nice things about KunK...
"Rather good I think" - John Peel, BBC Radio 1
"The opening track pumps out of my stereo, thrashing indie and grunge pouring out of the speakers, and it was so good that I thought I saw some shock waves blasting out my cd player. They come off as one of my favourite bands I’ve listened to in my reviewing career" - R*E*P*E*A*T
"Irredeemably daft, but with the rarity of a decent tune behind the zaniness." - Planet Sound, Channel 4 Teletext
"All you need to know is that KunK’s new line-up is absolutely brilliant, their new material is absolutely brilliant and their performance was spot on." - We Want The Airwaves Back
"I’m sure this band will continue until they get what they want and I, for one, am excited about their future. This band is going to go far, so catch them while you can!" - BBC Norfolk
Having been compared to whatever noise it is that angry dinosaurs make, Alt-Rock band KunK make sounds that have been known to stop wild boar in their quest for flesh. Creating a sound that is similar to the loveless child of QOTSA and the Pixies, KunK put on an energetic live show that excites, tantalises and scares the crowd in equal measure. They have also shared the stage with the likes of Nine Black Alps, Electric Eel Shock and Battle.
Two years after a much needed line-up change, KunK are set to release their debut single in February 2008. Despite the bands early demos receiving airplay from the likes of Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 1) and John Kennedy (XFM), KunK decided it was time to step up a gear and giving them the tools to do so was producer Jack Ruston (Reuben, McQueen, Kubb, Tom McRae). The result of which is three tracks of slap-you-in-the-face-and-leave-you, ballsy yet delightful Alternative Rock, which will excite you in a manner reminiscent of the best Christmas present you ever received.
