It's been a busy year so far, with holding down a residency twice weekly at Barcadia in Kingston upon Thames, guest appearances at Evissa for their "Rock your Sundays, Ruin your Mondays", nights with ithinkits at Turnmills and at Inigo bar in Clapham. I have more recently started a monthly residency at Niche Bar with Flawless and will play there on the last Saturday of every month. In July I fly out to Ibiza with Steve Westover and the rest of the Flawless team to throw parties at the following venues: Es Paradise , Plastic, Hush Bar and The Orange Corner . On July 26th I return to Inigo with the boys from ithinkits and Turnmills is again confirmed for the 24th of August, Boy George Headlining the night.
I have been involved in DJ'ing for nearly 10 years now and my enthusiasm has not gone away. In the late 90s I played along the likes of Brandon Block, Alex P, Graham Gold and Lee Rawling's to name a few. I mainly played in larger clubs, the likes of Volts in Kingston, Time and Envy in Romford, my music style was very dance and trance orientated until it became too commercial and saturated the market.I decided to move away from this scene and in 2002 I landed a residency at Barcadia in Kingston where I teamed up with Ric Toone, DJ'ing throughout the week and weekend. It was a big change for me moving from the club industry into playing at a bar, but it seemed the right move to work at a smaller more intimate venue. Nearly 4 years have past there now with the music being very 'Hed Kandi' when I first started there, to now being the tougher edge of house and electro. This where my heart lies now and with what's going on over the next couple of months, and the ITI team and Flawless now onboard, it looks as if it's going to be very busy......
