The 21 year old Leeds Dj plays with an acutely disctinctive style that ranges from minimal, techno, through to electro house, always being careful to lean towards the dark and glowering framework that he represents.
His influences take the shape of legends such as Lee Burridge, Alex Smoke & Oliver Huntemann…it’s fair to say that it’s the minimal, dark & messy tech-house stuff that usually finds its way into Zade Cross’s bag of tricks.
Its crystal clear to see why he’s been booked to play at some of Leeds’ best nights…Zade plays with an intelligent twist and regulates the dancefloor with avengence from start to finish with his infectious array of tunage. Taking no prisoners on the dancefloor – the crowds’ reactions to Zade’s sets verge on rapturous fever.
Having recently graduated from Leeds Uni in Multimedia technology, Zade’s skills in production seem to have rubbed off in the studio. Using Logic, Reason, Cubase and Fruity Loops, Zade’s own productions are a techy-glitchy carry-on, unsettling and toxic in all the right places.

Zade is currently making waves as the new KOMPIS resident, playing in Northampton and Birmingham with the labels own night, bringing a much needed slice of minimal, tech and electro to the Midlands. The Kompis residency is something Zade is really excited about and getting involved in the Kompis concept is right up his street.
With regular gigs in Leeds, York, Birmingham and Sheffield throughout the Summer, acclaimed radio slots on transmissionfm.com and the new Kompis residency, Zade’s year looks far from static.
