West London duo 'FUNKY SOLDIERS' were spinning tracks long before forming the collective back in 2002.
There aim? ...To bring the lack of Real Deep, Vocal House Music to the people.
They have quickly established themselves with their trademark Productions and Remixes, working with Labels & Artists from MN2S, Salted, OM Records, Ministry of Sound, Universal, Barcoda, Just Music, Avex & Mapp recordings.
Ministry of Sound recently commissioned Funky Soldiers to remix Chanel’s “Dance†resulting in a massive club smash that is still getting airplay into 2009.
Their sister label Hed Kandi also jumped on board and brought the pair in to remix Holland’s A List DJ Lucien Fort adding their soulful sounds to his track “The Shameâ€.
MN2S first took note of the Funky Soldiers in 2008 and commissioned the pair to remix Justin’s Michael’s
“Take Me To The Sky†which then went on to sit high on the Traxsource chart for several weeks.
As a result MN2S commissioned their first single for the label in the shape of “Thankful†which also topped the charts.
