About Me


"Local Support" is Philadelphia City Paper's free bi-weekly local music podcast, hosted by Jon Solomon . We play nothing but new, old and unreleased music made right here in the Delaware Valley.
Bands from the greater Philadelphia/New Jersey/Delaware area! - Subscribe and submit music here . If you don't send us your music, we can't play you on "Local Support."

We welcome submissions from long-forgotten area artists as much as we do releases by just-formed groups. Unreleased tracks, remixes and demos are all a-ok. The goal is to create a deep and varied library of music for these shows.
There's also a "Local Support" MySpace Group to join for more interactive fun.
Out-of-towners, don't be scared off by the localized nature of this podcast. There's plenty of music of all styles and sound to be enjoyed on every episode of "Local Support" that you probably won't have the chance to hear anywhere else.
