About Me
INNOVATIVE creator, musican charismatic performer, a real-as-it-gets
personality, Moh Green was raised by a single mother who respected
and advocated the arts and submerged her son into various forms of
creative outlets such as stage theater, screen acting, modeling, and
music. A headstrong and rebellious youth, he experienced numerous
troubles as a young boy and from an early age, his music became his
escape. A genuine musical prodigy, he taught himself to play the drums and
prided himself in his innate sense of rhythm and gift of making
beats on any and everything. Playing drums at his uncle's church,
a role that he still enjoys filling to this day, Moh relates his
musical talents to the biblical story of the five parables in the
book of Matthew where a man who was going on a journey called his
servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five
talents of money, to another two talents, and to another one
talent, each according to his ability. Then he went on his
journey. The man who had received the five talents went at once
and put his money to work and gained five more. So also, the one
with the two talents gained two more. But the man who had received
the one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his
masters money. As the story goes, each man doubled his talents,
except the spiteful and jealous servant who buried his own in a
hole. In his own life, Moh believes that he is afforded more
talents as he progresses on his own journey, because he faithfully
uses whatever gift he has at the time to create, grow, and
cultivate his dreams and ambitions. Because of this willingness
and dedication, he now holds under his belt a wide range of talents ranging from
drumming to rapping, recording toengineering, and graphic design to promotions.
He continously exhibits tremendous stylistic growth and diversity, constantly
experimenting with different sounds, textures, and genres.
Additionally, Moh is also a gifted painter and photographer with an
extensive portfolio containing images and photos spanning over the
past decade, which capture a wide range of color, landscapes,
emotions, and abstract as well as concrete images.Moh's current musical endeavors include a solo project presently untitled and
his continued work with his band Phace Oricalz (SEE www.myspace.com/phaceoricalzlive), comprised of
childhood friends, Dashill (Sun Novah) and Neal Ghant (Ebon Rrain).
The three MCs met each other while attending
a middle school in Fairburn, Georgia and sharing a love for the
world of hip-hop and instrumental music, the trio became involved
in a nine member group comprised of six rappers and three
musicians, who would compete in and eventually win, the school
talent show. The group was short-lived; however, and while all went
their separate ways, SunNovah, Moh (Atmos), and Ebon Rrain would
remain great friends. The three friends eventually formed their own band,
Phace Oricalz, while attending a performing arts high school in
East Point, Georgia and have remained together since.
