I play flute (both wood and silver) and whistle. I specialise in Celtic World and Contemporary music .
Over the past two years I've performed in India, Norway and at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, at the Levellers Festival and the Ardoyne Fleadh, at Handel House Museum and Ealing Jazz Festival and toured the UK with World Music group Musique et Espectaculo; and supported Martin Hayes, Mary Coughlan and Michael McGoldrick. I was also honoured to be asked to play for Irish President Mary Macaleese's visit to Haringey Irish Centre.
In January 2007 I was given an Arts Council Award for my World music project "TARABA" featuring Aidan Burke, Najma Akhtar, Howard Haigh, Zinga Rabhi and J.Owen, which was Time Out Critic's Choice at it's launch gig in Hammersmith Irish Centre in February. In summer I composed the music for Pera Palas by Sinan Unel at the Arcola theatre.
