Chris Jerome is a dynamic, versatile keyboard player/pianist who has performed and recorded with a multitude of ground-breaking artists in the realms of jazz, r&b, world music, hip hop etc, as well as leading his own bands. The musical journey started at the age of six when he was introduced to the piano and has continued and developed ever since. His first professional engagement at the age of seventeen, a tour support for UK reggae legends Aswad, whetted his appetite for live performance and he spent the next few years developing his craft in diverse musical settings reflecting the diversity of his own origins (Trinidadian/European). His reputation for versatility, creativity, professionalism and good vibes continues to grow and has seen him perform and tour all over the world, as well as featuring on many succesful recordings. He has recently released his debut, self-produced solo album entitled 'Long Distance'. Performed/toured/recorded with: Courtney Pine (band member 2001-present), Osibisa, Jazz Jamaica Allstars, Hugh Masekela, Sister Sledge, Maxi Jazz (Faithless) with The Soul Food Cafe, Imagination, Emmanuel aka C-Swing, Beverley Knight, Jamelia, Lynden David Hall (R.I.P.), Keith Waithe and the Macusi Players, Kad Achouri and many others....
