About Me

I am too young to be old...to old to be immature...too tired forcompetition...too independent to be needy...too meticulous to bedesperate...too loyal to date...too honest to be deceptive...too deepto be energetic...too creative to be lazy...too stubborn to bechanged...too thoughtful to be uncaring...too peaceful for drama...toocomplicated to love, and too enigmatic to understand.
I am at peace with what and who I am. It took me a long time torealize that, and now that I have, I wouldn't give it up for theworld. There are many things that I would love to have, to hold and toexperience, but I live to write and to create and if that is all Iever do or accomplish in life, I will die contented.
I am a writer of fiction, poetry and mind. Although I sometimesenjoy graphic design, photography and photo manipulation, writing is my greatest passion. I completed my first novel nearly ayear ago, which is the beginning story for my fantasy world anthology. My fantsy world has been eight-years in the making, and finally, after a lot of hard work things are coming together. I will beself-publishing a poetry, lyric and expression book sometime in thevery near future, too.I have no tolerance for people that do not appreciate and respect the importance of learning, whether it be the knowledge of the world, or the inner discoveries of one's self. If you do not understand this, chances are you are one of those people, and therefore you need not add me.That's all I have to say about me, but if you want to know anythingelse, you have but to ask...or just read the rest of my profile, perhaps? There is plenty in my blog under 'Some Things About Me'.About my slide show: These are a few images I have doneusing photoshop and other various resources such as free stock photos, etc. And there are several photos I've taken myself. I may add and remove from this slideevery now and then, so check back if for some strange reason my workinterests you. All images are copyright J.A. Redmerski 2006-2007 and may not be used without my permission. For some graphics I used photos from Stock.xchng - SXC and I only have copyright on the graphic, not the photos used within them.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Well, the only people I'd like to meet are either dead, or they don't exist. J.R.R Tolkien, Marius de Romanus, Nomak (Blade II), Marcus Corvinus (Underworld: Evolution), Emperor Caligula, Gaius Julius Caesar (hell, I'd like to meet all of the Caesars), all of the 'characters' in Lord of the Rings and Jin Kazama from Tekken. As far as anyone else, I'm not the type that really thinks of meeting people, to be honest.

A WORD OF CAUTION - PLEASE READ!
I'm not here to play the numbers game. I don't care how large or small the total is next to my friends list. In fact, if you aren't going to talk to me, I'd rather you did not add me at all. The exception to this rule are the musicians that I happen to like. I've added a lot of music by bands I enjoy and I don't expect to talk to them all, nor do I worry about it. This message is for everyone else here for the popularity game. Thank you.

I don't watch television much, but when I do it's usually the History Channel, PBS (Antiques Roadshow, NOVA & a lot of their movies & specials), Discovery, A&E, Sci-fi and the news (though I do not put much stock into the word of the media). Yes! I'm boring! Get over it! But hey, if I had to choose shows I like and used to watch, they would be: Xena, Hercules, La Femme Nikita, Highlander, Star Trek (all), Stargate SG1, Lost, Nip Tuck, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, Cold Case & CSI (all). But really, I'm not much of a TV person; I prefer movies.
