This is the REAL Randy West, Adult Video News Hall of Fame adult film actor. Yeah, the guy that got Jenna Jameson started in the biz in my " Up and Cummers " and "I Love Lesbians " video series. I also got my first shot at acting on camera and found out I had a few skills,which eventually led to some mainstream stuff and SAG and AFTRA cards.
I was originally going to play pro baseball but got into the hippie movement of the 60's and grew my hair long,which was not acceptable in pro sports back then,and wouldn't cut it so they wouldn't draft me,so I got into rock and roll as a lead singer instead. Almost signed a recording deal with Warner Bros. in the mid 70's but couldn't stand the cold weather back East, which is where they wanted me with a new band they were putting together. I moved to LA instead with my then girlfriend Kelly Nichols, who turned me on to World Modeling where my porn career really took off. Also did some fashion modeling with The Playboy Modeling fashion division and then became the first man to pose fully erect in a Playgirl magazine centerfold(shot by the incredible Suze Randall in 1980) which became somewhat of a scandal but Playgirl won the rights to publish the pics. Unfortunately with all the girls and the travel and the parties I let my music career slide, which is one of my few regrets.
I started producing one of the first reality porn series in 1993 called Up and Cummers, which had me finding new girls to have real sex on camera without a script or director. They did it with men or women or solo. Fortunately it turned out to be a very succesful concept and I even helped to discover many new adult video starlets, including the incredible Jenna Jameson(Up and Cummers .. 10+11 and I Love Lesbians 1) who went on to become the biggest adult film star ever and has turned into an incredible business woman(see clubjenna.com). Also shot some early scenes with the beautiful Tera Patrick(Upand Cummers .. 73+80) and many others who went on to become major porn stars like Jenna Haze, Belladonna, Raylene, Stacy Valentine,Carmen Luvana,Sabrine Maui,Asia Carerra, Felicia, Kylie Ireland, Midori, Leanni Lei, Allysin Chaynes, Dee, April Flowers, Jeannie Rivers, Ariana Sage, Samantha Style, Dayton Rains, Keilani Lei, Sunrise Adams, August, Taylor Rain, Lacey Duval and many more.
I'm almost retired from the biz now but may do a few things here and there and I'm working on a book about my life in the biz and what really goes on off camera and on!
