Saxophonist and composer Nir Na'aman was Born in
Yehud, Israel. Nir started playing the saxophone at
age 10. Won the America-Israel coltural foundation
award at age fourteen. Graduated from the Thelma
Yellin School of the arts in Tel Aviv. Later on he
played in the Israeli Air Force band for his military
service. While still in Israel Nir performed with
various Israeli artists and bands (such as "Tel Aviv
Big Band" "Hadag Nahash") as well as with his own
quartet and played in Jazz festivals including "The
Red Sea Jazz Festival". Nir also performed with
American Jazz artists touring in Israel such as Kenny
Werner and Eddie Marshall. In 2003 Nir Recived a
scholarship towards tuition from Berklee College of
music and moved to Boston. Since than Nir has
performed professionally with artists such as Joanne
Brackeen, Oscar Stagnaro, Dave Samuels, Steve Gadd,
Aberaham Laborial, Eguie Castrillio Terri-Lyne Carrington.
Toured in Spain, Poland and Japan.
