About Me

I created my layout at KillerKiwi.net Bryant Snyder hails from New York City. His musical education began at the age of 12 and continued on through his college where he pursued both percussion and guitar. From 1999 until 2003 Bryant attended East Stroudsburg University where he gained a number of performance experiences from pit orchestras to the universitys jazz ensemble as well as studying with premier guitarist Bill Washer (Joe Henderson, Stan Getz, Elvin Jones, Whitney Houston, Stanley Clarke, Gato Barbieri, Stevie Wonder, Liza Minnelli, Ashford & Simpson). In his time at ESU Bryant has shared the stage with artists Lou Marini (Blues Brothers, Blood Sweat and Tears), Lew Del Gatto (saxophonist and arranger with the Saturday Night Live band), Jim Pugh (Steely Dan), and Terrell Stafford (Bobby Watson's Horizon). In fall of 2003 Bryant moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music and fully pursue his musical career. In May of 2007, Bryant graduated cum laude from Berklee with a dual major in jazz composition and performance. Bryant has composed and arranged for numerous recordings and other projects in the Boston area. Currently, Bryant is living and playing gigs in the Northeast PA area. He is also employed with Carnival Cruise Lines as a show band guitarist and, as of today, has played in Hawaii. He will soon be traveling to Jamaica, Key West, FL, The Bahamas, and Mexico. Bryant Snyder is available for performances, writing and arranging, and private lessons.
