My other interests include, playing lots of pool obviously, my Honda Melody scooter, which is being lovingly restored, slowly. I've bought a push bike so I can go & get fit. But that's a laugh in itself coz I've not been on a bike for something like 10 years. I love my iPod, my DS, graphic design & creating great flash that's not like everything else you see today. Tattoo Conventions. I've been on the Inkfest (Swansea) Convention crew for the last three years. My dog keeps me very busy, she's a very mental & demanding staffy. She's gorgeous though. I like to play around with enguines, my blokie is a great mechanic & a Class 1 lorry driver, so he's taught me loads about fixing cars. I'm practically an expert at brakes, but I think that's coz he hates doing them. Lol.
I'm intersted in bikes, tattoos, people, music, anyone who challenges me on my perseptions of life or my views on anything, especially religion & society (you can blame my Dad for that) I love a good arguement. Conversations in the rain on a hot day. The one thing I ca't stand though is guys who can't find anything other to talk about except work, cars & football. No personality = No conversation
I love this site for real! PYZAM.com , Check it out!
Anyone apart from Bill Hicks, coz even though he's funny, he's a bit on the dead side! But most definately I'd love to meet Bill Bailey, just to watch those big mad eyes. He looks a bit crazey when he's wasted. Lol. Also I have a bit of a fantasy thing for Simon Pegg & Nick Frost. God if I could get those two in a room with me & a locked door.......also the Mighty Boosh boys too. I saw them live in Cardiff when they were there last & I was gutted I didn't get any autographs, but they're on stage again this winter, so I'm gona try again.
Bit of everything really. I'm very ecclectic (though I don't think I can spell) My music evolution starts with Chris Rhea when I was 5 & had to sit & listen to my Dad play his tapes over & over on long journies in the car to our caravan in North Wales, you can include Hughey Louis & Dier Straights in that catagory too. The 1st record I ever bought was Now10. But I've gone through Meatloaf, Spin Doctors, Nirvana, Cast, Alien Ant Farm, Mindless Selfindulgance, Orgy, Rob Zombie, all the Ministry Of Sound stuff, Classical, Soft Jazz........... You name it & I probabley will have heard it at some point. The main bands I listen to now are Muse, Pink (her new stuff), Gwen Stefarni (through the ages) Amy MacDonald, Nickleback, Avril Lavigne, which is kinda gay, but a couple of her newest tracks are really great. I like Linkin Park, Scouting For Girls, the Hoosiers & loads of other bands too, but they're on my recent downloads list anyway. I'll listen to anything really as long as it's got a good beat to it. If I like it then it goes in my collection.
WOW! Lets face it, if you haven't found these guys, well you're missin out on some seriously fantastic tracks! Click & listen peeps. Thanks for showing me the way to the light Becki :)
These guys are on my friends list & I've chatted with them a few times. I found them by chance, but I'm glad I did. The Scottish Metal Scene is stunnin right now & these guys really are the perfect example of sheer brutish throatiness!
Kung Pow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a stupidly funny but total genious of a film! Weee ooh wee oooh weee ooooooooh :) I love my Anime & Manga, have an awesome Hentai collection too. Mwha ha ha haaa. But you can't beat classic anime films like Spirited Away & great Manga series like Virus & Dragon Half :) I love horrors, thrillers & definately those cheesey B-Movies you used to get in those DVD Player bargains, you know the ones, buy this DVD Player & get 250 movies free!!!!! They were great! But the best B-Movie of all time, or collection of has to be trusty Bruce Camble in The Evil Dead. I remember watchin that on my 13th birthday sleep over & being scared shitless. I'm talking the original though, not the comody remake. Then finding it again at random years later & thinking "Why the hell was this banned & more importantly, why the hell was I so scared watching it?!!!" Good old Bruce, he made me laugh through many a dull night. Oh & my all time favourite quote from a film in the whole world ever used to be.....wait for it...... THERE'S ALWAYS TIME FOR LUBRICANT!!!!!......from Evolution. But I can think of one or two great lines from SuperBad that easily beat that. It's a really silly film, but it's always good for a laugh.
Anyone who argues with me on this one needs a slap. Absolute must watch include: Two Pints, Black Books, Prison Break, Lost Series One, not watched it since, bad me, Supernatural, Desperate Housewives (when I remember it) & THE MIGHTY BOOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to see them live in March 06! Oh my god! I laughed so much I had a headache by the end of it.
Anything by Douglas Adams, Kazuo Ishaguro, the Battle Angel Alita graphic novels. Oh yeah, & I was totally sucked in by the Harry Potter thing to. I tried so hard to resist, but in the end my defences crumbled & I became one of the coverted millions wishing they had a magic wand & a half giant for a best mate. I even pre-ordered my copy of book 7 a month ago & it's not out until July. God how sad am I :)
Bill Bailey (I wanna marry him), Simon Pegg (I'd marry him too), Nick Frost (I'd marry him three) My Dad coz he taught me the fine art of saying "NO" & how easy it is to say it once you've nailed it! Mum coz she puts up with my Dad. Lol. But I meet ordinary heroes every day of my life. It's the simple things that make Joe Bloggs the street hero. Those people who have time to listen, the ones who offer a hug when it's most needed & the ones you admire because they have the guts to try new things & actually do, not just talk about, the things they want to do with thier lives. Jayne is one of those people. She has a plan & she's sticking to it. She has balls of steel & I hope she gets everything she wants from life. She deserves it.
