Strappo

An anomalous team from the origin, Strappos band was born on March 2003. At the beginning, their intention was to form a band of funny features drawing inspiration from funky-oriented music.INTENTION: obtaining a lot of dancin groove (like many english bands of the 80s)INFLUENCES: from funky to pop, from rock to reggaenot forgiving ideas taken from italian music of the 70s The events that led to the actual complete band had been troubled. The band was created by 3 guys: FONZY DELLUTRI (GUITAR) TANO CONTE ( DRUMS) SALVUCCIO CONTE (ELECTRIC BASS). They had already carried out several musical projects together (covers and unpublished music), obtaining a quite good audiences opinion. After a moment of removal, they decided to try again, joining the several experiences lived through the years. To make a new good band you need a vocalistso they started an exhausting research of a singer. Therefore, in that tragic moment our 3 friends met a musician, who soon became the bands trumpet...an eccentric man, who would contribute to the bands growth with his bizzarre sounds and funny colours, called: MAESTRO (MASTER) CLAUDIO MONTALTO (TRUMPET).The singer would never arrive! And, after many attempts, they took the final decisionthe drummer, lyrics writer and music inspirer, took the microphone, leaving his old role (after a long research) to another good musician: EMANUELE RINELLA (DRUMS).A particolar thanksgiving goes to ELENA TUMMINELLI and CLAUDIA LO CASTRO (she unfortunately left the band for private reasons) for the assiduity, precious support and for the help on choirs arrangements.
