Formed from the ashes and slow-burning embers of bands such as Parma Violets, Harvey, Little America, The Merics, Pete's Gone Straight Edge, Mr Zippy, etc. The Shamones are taking mid-life crisis and excessive drinking to an all new level.Their natural habitat is in the North Devon area, though due to crimes against just about everything (including facial hair) Dunky (Hitler) Shamone has been banished to Manchester. Every now and again his good behaviour gains him a weekend pass from the Pie Testing Facility. Some say he has a bossy streak.Charley (Ghenghis) Shamone can normally be found at the beach laying down some fat cut-backs and floaters at Croyde bay. Having failed at world domination (he got as far as Bristol) he is now seen as the Squire of Braunton. He has sworn never to leave his birthplace.Petey 'If it's not Stella, it's not getting in!!' Shamone is the Pimp daddy of the group, he can normally be found lounging nonchalantly at a local bar. If not, start checking the hedges. A rapscallion of the highest order, this man can identify makes of beer from 30 yards using only his eyebrows. Also known as Dead Shamone.Between the 3 of them these unlikely heroes have created a maelstrom of sound only equalled by The Ramones themselves.
