A Head On Collision Between Martha Stewart and Morticia Adams

About Me

If you want me to add you as a friend, you need to message me as to why. Do I know you, do I even want to know you? How will knowing you improve my quality of life?
I am NOT here to hook up, there are no knights in shining armor running amok waiting to sweep me off my feet (you'd get a hernia anyway), & I could care less if you like to talk dirty in fluent Klingon. There's not a cheesy pickup I've not already heard, by better. Applications for Cabana Boys will be taken when I win the Lottery, until then: Bugger off, there's already a waiting list.
I'm a Cosmetologist, specializing in Nails, Waxing, & Makeup. I've also been involved with Ren Faires since 1995.
Being a geek for all things Haunted/Supernatural, I started decorating the outside of my home in 2001, where it escalated to a full on, interactive, 12 room +, walkthrough Haunted House with sometimes over 20 actors. 2007 found us starting over with a small Yard Haunt in our new neighborhood.
I currently serve as Secretary on the Board of Directors for IAHA (the International Association of Haunted Attractions). As such I get to travel to different Haunt Conventions across the country, get to visit various Haunts, and meet some very interesting people.
I was Goth before Goth exsisted! I have pics of me as a 2 year old in the Early 70's playing with Skulls. I was also wearing black nail polish, reading books on Witches, watching Monster Movies, & worshipping Alice Cooper early on.
I am a real Kitchen Witch! I love to cook! Especially special dishes for a variety of cultural Holidays, or for dinner parties. I am as widely ecclectic in my belief system as I am in my tastes. However, the base rule still stands: An It Harm None, Do What Thou Wilt.
I have a very bubbly personality, but tend to get rather melancholy at times. I talk like a drunken sailor, & can turn viscious in a nano second. I get way too flirty & grabby when I drink, which thankfully isn't often. Watch your tushies, I like to pinch. I also have a Crazy A$$, twisted, sense of humor. I love to let people think I'm "normal", then do something wickedly goofy.
Likes: White Roses, Wild Flowers, My iPod!, Cemeteries, Clearance Sales, Designer Shoes & Handbags, Petite Pants that actually fit, GOOD Makeup, Bubble Baths, Godiva Chocolate, Captain Morgan Private Stock Rum, Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Donuts, Pumpkin Cake, Sour Cherry Candy, Chocolate Covered Cherries, MicroBrewed Root Beer, Cinnamon Gum, Dancing, Stand Up Comedy, Massages, Facials, Pedicures, various Ethnic Foods (Indian, Mexican, Cajun, Greek, Italian), Fine Sterling Jewelry & Semi-Precious Stones (Smokey Topaz, Garnet, & Citrine!), Imported Teas, Dirty Jokes, Kitchen Accessories, Major Household Appliances, Nag Champa Incense, Really Good Knives, French Fries with Gravy, & Root Beer Popsicles.
Dislikes: Cigarette/Cigar Smoke, Goldschlagger, HomoPhobes, Spiders, People who wear sandals without a pedicure, Rude F'in people, My Big Fat Butt, Bad DIY & Wallpaper, Smelly Feet, Chipped Nail Polish, Bad BO, Sweetbreads, Poop, Raspberry Rum, Hominy & Okra.
My Quotes:
*A Head On Collision Between Martha Stewart and Morticia Adams
*Actually I'm more like Lily Munster, and she has much better fashion sense than either Martha or Morticia.
*Even though, some pains, hurts, and tears won't ever go away, may never even be forgiven, I cannot wish them away. For I would not be me without them.
Other Quotes:
Sometimes we let other people treat us wrongly because we want to be loved and accepted so badly that we’d do anything for it. It hurts when you know that no matter how much you try, how much you want it, they can’t love or accept you as you are. Then you hate all that time you wasted trying to please them and wonder what about you is so awful that they couldn’t at least pretend to love you. -Sherrilyn Kenyon
Oh good! My dog found the chainsaw! - Lilo & Stitch
glumbert - Welcome to Hell

My Interests

Halloween, Haunted Houses, Acting, FX Makeup, Glamour Makeup, Costuming for Halloween & Historical use, I love to cook & have parties for my friends. LOVE baking! Tea Parties, Themed Parties, Margaritas, & Rum Punch!

I'd like to meet:

Real People: Haunters, Rennies, other Makeup Artists, Hair Stylists, Witchy folk, other creative people (maybe creativity will decide I'm worthy someday), and People who can handle ecclectic personalites: I have friends from just about every walk of life & I love them ALL!! I love my Goths, My Gays, My Lesbians, My Metal Chicks/Guys, My Soccer Moms, My Cowboys/Girls, Nature People, My South Side Homies, Witchy People, And my Corporate America people! Celebrities: Gerard Butler, Rick Baker, Tim Burton, Svengoolie (both), Laurell K. Hamilton, Anne Rice, Kathy Griffin (She cracks me the HELL up! - Suck it!)

Can't stand Michael Jackson, overly twangy Country (I do like the newer Pop-Country), or hard core rap. Industrial works for a while, as does Techno, but gets on my nerves after a couple hours. I have a new love for Goth type music (Voltaire, Unto Ashes, Evanescence), though I guess NIN fell into that category. I liked it & didn't even know it.
