Interests. That's my cue to say music, right? Right. Music. And books.Art. Animation, especially the British clay animation and Tim Burton. Halloween. Better said, creating Halloween props.Other interests vary from subject to subject. Knitting oddities. Silver jewelry. Ceramics and pottery, I own a wheel and (currently non functioning) kiln.
Beatles, obviously. Past that, just about everything else with the exception of 60's country. D.I.V.O.R.C.E. gives me a rash. I like different, unique. Deep Forest, Kate Bush, Laurie Anderson, Peter Gabriel were favorites. Doesn't matter how new or how old it is. Anything interesting that comes my way.
Caddyshack. Probably the greatest movie ever made. Ghostbusters, second. I can watch Cold Comfort Farm repeatedly. Same for Dogma. A Christmas Story is the best Christmas film ever made. ANYTHING by Monty Python or The Marx Brothers. Others: A Mighty Wind, Harold & Kumar, Meatballs, The Philadelphia Story, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, The Triplets of Belleville...liking these new pirate movies... ...I'm missing bunches, I know. Will add as I remember them.
I do not watch much television, I tend to plan time for a couple of shows that I try to not miss. Boston Legal, mostly. Alot of the Adult Swim shows, The Boondocks first and foremost. Robot Chicken. I like alot of British television, most especially Aardman. Wallace & Gromit, Rex the Runt, Angry Kid, Creature Comforts. A new one called I Am Not An Animal.
Anything by Jane Austin or one of the Bronte sisters. Dickens, Lewis Carroll, Poe. Guilty pleasure, I do like the Harry Potter books. Not much for Shakespeare. As a theatre major in college, I was forced to read and decipher play after play and what I discovered was that Shakespeare was merely the Neil Simon of his time. Feh.
Whoever made this:
