IM Cyber started djing in 1998, when she first tried to mix two records. But even before that she has been a talented and appreciated music criticist and an experienced great musician, playing both the sax and the flute skilfully. Her appearance in the popular dance band Skyline was an important step in her musical career. In her case, becoming a dj was just the next logical musical progression. Knowing what her future hook-up will be, resulted eventually in choosing the wheels of steel for good. Not even a thought shed on a compromise. The vinyl addiction won. Retrospectively seen, it becomes quite obvious, that it was just the right thing to do.After the first year of struggling with the decks, she found herself under the East Base agency. IM CYBER formed a duo with the much anticipated czech drumandbass dj Koogi and things started to roll massively. Today, IM CYBER plays events throughout the Czech Republic, she is often seen in Slovakia, as well as in other europian countries. The list of legendary artists she made an appearance with, is indeed worth being proud of: Photek, Ed Rush, Optical, Goldie, Teebee, Calyx, Bad Company, D-Bridge, Andy C, Future Prophecies, Marky, Klute, Lee, Kemal, Blame, Usual Suspects, Total Science, Storm, Marcus Intalex, Dillinja among others. Her dj skills were also evaluated with a monthly residency called IN DA BUSH at the best czech club, the ROXY PRAGUE. Here she hosts a monthly show with the best drumandbass djs from all over the world. Her skills also resulted in various events with her ex-Shadowbox crew and in her participation at the Red Bull Music Academy in Sao Paolo, where she had the opportunity to play alongside the likes of dj Marky and XRS. She is booked by the Roxy booking nowadays.IM CYBER uses her musical talent and skills for her own production, as she cooperates with the talented producer Kubatko on her first tracks. She is rather fond of live music instruments, as can be seen from her casual jam sessions with the enormously gifted bass guitarist Marta Minarik (ex-Lucie, KollerBand). IM CYBER is a part of the Ecson Waldes live performance. E.W. is a producer who won Czech Music Academy Awards in the hip hop and dance category couple of years ago.Together with dj 2K, IM CYBER also set up the music for the theatre show Discopigs. As a journalist, she cooperated with several influential local magazines.As an official mixtape, IM CYBER released the sun-bathed Shadowbox compilation through Ultramix magazine and she mixed a CD for the Exit magazine. Recently has IM CYBER released mix as a bonus CD to the czech leading electronic music magazine Xmag that presents project of her and dj Suki - Take Control - dnb night in Prague that shows the best label djs on the scene and in the same time producers that mostly influenced IM CYBER..s sound: Noisia@Vision label night, Calyx@Moving Shadow night, Teebee, Future Prophecies and Brooklyn@Subtitles label night, Fierce and Break@Quarantine night, Friction@ShogunAudio label night, State Of Mind and in the near future Ed Rush with Virus.
