About Me

DIMENSION F3H - Reaping the worldwindsOrientation; Straight. Hometown; Oslo, Norway. Bodytype; 5'11 and "normal" (Quoting Cartman" I'm not fat, I'm big boned! :D ) I would love to be athletic, but I don't have the dicipline to work out all year around, and I do have my couchpotato-moments. When I exercise, I run and lift weights, whitch I enjoy. Zodiac sign; Leo. I am not a fan of promiscuity, and I practise what I preach. I still TRY not to be too judgemental about it ;) I am here SOLELY for networking and possible music-collaborations. There are a few genres in music that I just cannot bring myself to listen to, and that's rap, country, synth-goth, nu-metal, folk-metal and most powermetal, thus I respect every musician.Ex-vocalist and co-founder of a band called Aphelion (Mandylion) for about 2 years. Two demos was recorded under the Mandylion-name, and the last one (whitch can be heard on this site) became demo of the month in German Metal Hammer.Has done backing vocals for;Mactatus (demo), Dimension F3h, Illusion Suite, Where Angels Fall, Vidsyn, Vesen, Supremacy,I do enjoy doing backing vocals for various genres, so if you need a real alto (not many of us around)on your recordings, do not hesitate to contact me.I sing 2.alto in a churchchoir called Gamle Aker Kirkekor, and I have been taking classical singing-lessons.For the time beeing I am not in a band/project, but I would like to sing more, so I'm hoping for something to come up :) Unfortunately these old recordings of my ex-band on this page does not really show the diversity of my voice.A few of the bands/artists I listen to; Leaves' Eyes, Theatre of Tragedy(Aégis and backwards), Tristania (Widows' Weeds, Ashes and Illumination), 3'rd and the Mortal, Epica, The Gathering, Opeth, Bloodbath, Swallow the sun, Ozzy and Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Shape of Despair, Deep Purple, Zeenon, Vader, Emperor, Samael, Candlemass, Pink Floyd, Demis Rossous, Necrophagia,Obituary, Pantera, Fear Factory, Grimfist, Static-X, Dead Can Dance, Nile, Europe, Ratt, Magnum, Immortal, Cathedral, Ayreon, Ambeon, Stream of Passion, W.A.S.P, David Bowie and loads more. I enjoy classical music as well, expecially baroque, but also church-music (including gregorian) and medevial. Right now I study music (second year, part-time and more in-depht) and multicultural education (pedagogical)at Hamar, Norway. This previous year I got singing-lessons from my wonderful teacher Rolf Knapper, who has really helped me with my vocal skills. This is the second year of my second education, as I am an educated cook already. And last, but not least, please do not judge me by the friends I have on myspace ;)I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts! Myspace Graphics

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: gamleakerkirkekor.no/ (choir website)
Influences: Not necessearily influences, but vocalists I admire and from my point of view-stands out from the crowd(or did); Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering), Vibeke Stene (Tristania), Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance),Brendan Perry (Dead Can Dance), Simone Simons ( Epica), Liv Kristine Espenes Krull (Leaves’ Eyes), Ann Mari Edvardsen (the 3’rd and the mortal), Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Kathleen Ferrier(R.I.P), Lorraine Hunt Lieberson(R.I.P), Mikael Akerfeldt (Opeth), Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory), Linn Pedersen (Zeenon), David Coverdale (Whitesnake)...I do think it’s important to have my own sound, but one can always learn from other vocalists. The day you feel you have nothing to learn, you have absolutely nothing to do or give in the musicbusiness.
Sounds Like: A REAL alto!
Type of Label: None
