My Interests

Pretty much anything that allows me to sit right here in front of this screen- but mainly drawing. And golf- for when Sara insists I get some fresh air. I'm not very good at it though.
The occasional comic- but I've pretty much moved into trades of stuff that's been recommended these days.
I very occasionally pick up some weights and get on the cross trainer. Though not at the same time.

I'd like to meet:

The man who sold us our house- so I can punch him in the mouth.

Music:

Bit of everything really-
Joy Division
David Bowie
The Beatles
Queens of the Stone Age
Blur
The Smiths
Happy Mondays
Kasabian
Orbital
I've even been known to stick Duran Duran on every now and then.

Movies:

In no particular order:
12 Monkeys
Serenity
The Matrix
Gattaca
There are probably others, but you know how it is...

Television:

Lost
Battlestar Galactica (new)
The Bill- which is probably the most underrated tv show ever
Firefly
In fact pretty much any other Sci-fi crap that Sky decides to show.

Books:

Catch 22 (Joseph Heller)
The Wasp Factory (Ian Banks)
Fear and loathing in Las Vegas (Hunter S. Thompson)
Time and Again (Clifford D. Simak)
Of Mice and Men (John Steinbeck)
Watchmen (Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons)
Again, loads of other stuff- just can't think of it off the top of my head.

Heroes:

Hmmm... Alan Moore, Alan Davis- plus a few other artistic types who's egos don't need any further inflation...;)

My Blog

The Wife.

The wife rather brilliantly put petrol into our diesel car on Friday. How we laughed. You'd think I'd be cross (it's the sort of thing that people get cross about, after all)- but given that we have tw...

Dull

It's been a not inconsiderable amount of time since I last posted anything. I guess MySpace is a bit like that, isn't it? Actually, I think most things are a bit like that these days- instant gratif...

Somebody unemploy me...

I really shouldn't complain about my job because it's the best job in the world- I get to draw stuff and people actually pay me to do it.That said...I've got a repeat client that uses me a couple of t...

Small world

Funny old week this week. I went to see Eagles of Death Metal in Nottingham- which was fucking ace- but managed to get involved in some hideous road rage incident beforehand- which was slightly less ...

Ill

So I've got some kind of virus- and it's always a bloody virus these days, isn't it? Nothing you can do, just got to wait it out. Wait it out? My eyes are full of blood- or at least, that's the way...

John Byrne- Misunderstood genius or miserable old twat- you decide!

What is it with the man? Why is he so bitter? There's a reason there are so many people lining up to take pot shots at John Byrne (or 'JB' as he likes to be known) and a lot of the people lining up us...

MySpace etiquette

So I keep getting all these invites from people that I don't know. So far, I've pretty much ignored them all- am I being rude? Should I just accept everyone into my network or be a bit more choosey?...

I am great- it's official.

Just found this while poking around somebody else's profile. I'm pleased to say that it merely confirms what I've already suspected- that I'm bloody great.Obviously, anyone else born on the same day ...

At home to Mr Tetchy

I managed to knacker my neck while shivering yesterday and I'm stumbling around like Herman Munster's understudy today. I am in masses of pain and yet Sara keeps finding chores for me to do that invo...
