Who am I?

About Me

Hi, My name is Robbie, formerly of Dublin, Ireland, before that, Cork, Ireland and now residing in Randers,Denmark, where I have lived for the past 12 years. I have been a drummer for many years. I also play a variety of other instruments, not particularly well, but enough to get by when I am recording my own music. These include guitar, bass, harmonica and my latest passion, ukulele(which is great fun). I have played with many different bands and artists over the years, some very briefly and some for long periods. Here´s what I can remember at the moment: Zero Zero, Judge Krayder, Killing Time UK, Jerry Hendrick, Rockabye, WintersReign, The Blues Sisters, Albatross, Riff Raff, Brooklyn, The Lone Sharks, Fashion, The Business, Talk To Strangers, The Capel St. Blues Band, The Pheasant Pluckers, Morrigan, Doug Brockie And Akashaforce, The Commitments, The Rob Strong Band, Georgie Fame, Papa Hobo, Blues Up Front, Laurie Hartz, If 28, Sticks n Stones, Backstage, The Hoglers, Crackerjack, Randersegnsteaterkor. To everyone I ever played with, even if it was only for one gig, thanks for the music. I´m still playing to this day and still loving it. I gave up playing professionally 12 years ago when I moved to Denmark,(due to a Danish wife suffering from homesickness). I worked at various shitty jobs until I started working in a kindergarden five years ago. The ukulele comes in very handy at work and I have convinced the kids that my guitar was pregnant and had a baby. In my spare time I play in four different bands,(I have to watch the dates so I don´t get double booked, it has happened, very embarrassing). I also sing in a choir, which I really enjoy and gives me a chance to try something different.Photography is my other great passion. I only started a couple of years ago but I really enjoy it. Ill be posting photos in mypics every now and then.
