Karlie Bruce is an Australian singer/musician now living in New York City.Karlie completed a BMus/BEd degree at the University of New South Wales. She was awarded 3rd place in both the 2005 Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition and the 2006 Brussels International Young Jazz Singers Competition and was also a finalist in the 2006 London International Jazz Competition. Karlie has held stage at the Sydney Opera House, London's Cadogan Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York City.Karlie's acclaimed self-titled debut album is available in Australia and Japan on leading independent jazz label, La Brava Music.(www.karliebruce.com).
