She was also a Top 5 finalist in the 2005 for 'Someone'. There is her debut album on the horizon this year, writing her final few songs for this long, long awaited documentation of lyrics and sounds * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * In early 2006, Eve returned to Sydney after vagabonding and exploring in the USA, Middle East and Europe. She studied in New York with Grammy Award Winner, Bobby McFerrin & Voicestra, and vocalist specialist, Debra Wiley. . It aint so simple to pigeonhole this wild bird....her music is an eclectic fusion of genres & sounds (from cicadas to silence). Her sultry vocals naturally bind with jazz, alternative, rock, arabic inuendo, hiphop, dance and attitude. While living in Londons West End, she performed at Spice of Life, Jazz After Dark & Lazy Bar. Eve also had the insatiable privilege as a support artist for Wynton Marsalis (by spontaneous invitation) at an intimate concert at the William Goodenough College, Russell Square, London.Since returning to Australia in 2006, she's been playing her tunes with sensational premier Aussie Musicians; Ben & James Hauptmann & Duncan Brown... (a kickass band) at venues such as The Vanguard,The Civic & at the Cronulla Jazz & Shiraz Festival & plans to record her debut album in 2007. By popular demand, she is a regular guest artist for 'LUNA presents' @ Minque, Canberra, with sassy ease of freestyling vocals with DJ Pred, Pablo (trumpet/keys) DJ Fab.Starting her musical ventures with classical piano at age 7, it was at 19 that Eve's passion for singing was pursued at the Australian National University - (School of Music) graduating with her BMus degree in Jazz Vocal Performance under direction of internationally acclaimed jazz singer Gery Scott. She has been a featured artist at the Australian Jazz Festival, Wangaratta, Manly & Thredbo Jazz Festivals performing with artists such as James Morrison, Don Burrows (Rising Stars of the Future Sessions), Mark Sutton, Wayne Kelly, James Sofo, Brendan Clarke, Greg Stott, Scott Dodd, Ben O'Laughlin & many more! ..
