The Bristol Vegan Fayre 2007

The Bristol Vegan Fayre is scheduled for Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June in the Amphitheatre and Waterfront Square in the centre of Bristol, once again organised by Yaoh.

Full line up including huge bands, exciting performers, talkers and cookery demonstrators including selected biographies, kids area, stall holders and a whole host of vegan fun at the worlds biggest vegan event!!! Not to be missed!Visit the BRISTOL VEGAN FAYRE WEBSITE!!!The Beat (click here to visit their myspace) confirmed to headline Sunday! An original line up of 70's two tone ska legends will play us out on the main stage down at Bristol's waterfront Amphitheatre -definitely a gig to remember! Also appearing over the weekend is a whole host of exciting live bands and entertainment, including Manchester's Puressense, local chilled hip hop Chemical Dub Theory and Se Fire, Bristol ska band First Degree Burns, folksters the Silver Spurs, Zion Flex and Tom MacAllister with acoustic guitar and female mc styles, David straitjacket the vegan escapologist attempting a new world record attempt, contortionist Rubber Ritchie and loads more!
Along side this will be a dedicated kids area, cookery demos tent hosted by Tony Bishop Weston, a raw food area, hemp expo, 3 talks rooms with experts speaking on vegan nutrition, raw food and campaigning, a fully decorated bedouin tent with drummers and belly dancers, a catwalk fashion show with the lastest trends in ethical clothing and some fresh new designers, a PETA video display tent, the all new healing area, a double decker bus gormet vegan restaurant, an all day vegan bar provided by the Apple Cider boat, many tasty food stalls selling everything from vegan ice-cream, burgers, milkshakes and smoothies to curries, tapas and vegan kebabs! And dont forget the stalls! Fantastic opportunities to taste many new vegan products and get unbeatable show discounts on a huge range of green, ethical and vegan products!!!!! Admission only 3 quid!

In response to the impending environmental disasters we are all facing, these awards recognise the contribution that the vegan lifestyle brings to the environment. With James Bond too busy mixing cocktails to save the world, it falls to vegan superhero Wonderpig to take on the 007 mantle and help rescue us from our own mess, and Wonderpig has kindly agreed to give up his spare time to do just that...
