I like to take life one day at a time as much as possible. It is a shame it took two encounters with death to come to this. But my eyes are wide open and I do take time out "to stop and smell the roses". I am a very proud alumni of Marshall University. I wanted to go there from the age of five. I am a better person for having the honor of graduating from Marshall. My only regret is that my grandfather (my father to me) did not live long enough to see it. Children are something I do not have. I wish a did, however with my recent divorce I guess it is a good thing. My children are my dog Maggie Mae and my cats. I love them with all my heart. Most people who know me can tell you this about me: I am arrogant, spoiled, knows the world evolves around me. I am also an asshole. This last one I know because I have been told that by many people. However, this is where true reality and my true persona split ways. True, if I do not like someone and/or they do not like me I let them know. My time is too valuable to put up with loads of crap from anyone (unless of course I am getting paid for it). The people who are truly close to me know the full story. Sure I am still an asshole, but they know how much I love them, how I would do anything for them, and I will stand with them no matter what. One thing I do not want to leave out is my love for the United States. I always hope every American will stop and realize freedon is not free. Our fighting men and women are out there every day keeping us safe. Please take time to remember them and their families. Also do not forget the wounded who, when they return home, will not be able to live the life they would have. Last, but not least, remember the families, friends, and loved ones of those who will never come home.

Favorite group since 12th grade: U2. Also Pink Floyd, Rollins Band, Coldplay, Dave Mathews Band.

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Plus, most Stephen King and Dean Koontz novels. I like to read about the rise and fall of Empires and other historical literature.

Ronald Reagan. Nate Ruffin. Pat Tillman. Chris Parker. The Armed Forces of the United States of America.
