About Me

In 2003 the Sunday Music Club developed out of the band Chromosome 86. While the Chromosome 86 were primarily inspired by British Shoegazer and Dream-Pop of the early 90ies, the Sunday Music Club has turned towards more melodic and more definitely structured songs. Nonetheless, the Sunday Music Club with its variety of sounds does neither miss the fancyful-noisy parts nor an ever-gleaming but constant hopeful melancholy (with)in its vocals and sonorous guitars. In cooperation with bass, samples and beatbox the Sunday Music Club successfully breaks new ground without losing sight of its musical roots in the Independent-Pop culture.
