DORK & BIG SIR

This is a profile for a small indie comic called
THE ADVENTURS OF DORK & BIG SIR!
When the characters were created, it was intended to be a goofy ongoing web series. Conflicting schedules, and a lead that felt silly in tights halted that, like quick. Joe Francis sat on quite a few show scripts for it, including even a feature movie script. Cut to a year or so later, Joe got tired of sitting on his thumbs (it does hurt after a while, y'know) and thought it'd be cool to attempt to make it a small online comic strip. Joe's tried his hand at comic strips, failing terribly. He did a small stint on a very small comic strip called Intelligent Brian..that were never released. He also wrote and drew his own strip called Eddie At The Bar, that pretty much tanked after 6 months.
Getting back on track, Joe felt to do the characters justice, he needed someone with talent on board. He put up many ads looking for an artist, with many many submissions, but nothing really fitting what he thought would be best for this strip.
Myspace buddy for about a year Anthony Catanese wrote Joe one day letting him know he can 'drew pretty good', and sent a sketch of Dork that blew Joe away.
Anthony was 'hired' directly after, and has since been working on 2 stories. According to Anthony, the strip has since turned into a full on 40-page comic book.
Soon it will be released 2 pages a week, and if you people dig it, we'll print off some copies and send it off to publishers in hopes of it reaching comic nerds across America!
