About Me

I'm a local Dallas filmmaker, and I also do freelance production work to pay the rent. I don't care what the work is, so long as it's on a set...there's just nothing like it. I've also teamed up with other local filmmakers, more business savvy than I, and we can honestly say we plan to take the Dallas production scene by storm in the coming years.
I'm a writer by trade, with comedy being my area of expertise. I've been fortunate enough to meet the only woman for me, and we've created the only son for us. Until we totally have sex and make another one. Then they'll be the only two sons for us. I love them both dearly, and they're the only thing that comes before making movies for me.
Last year I directed a no budget horror called Survival, that I also co-wrote with SC filmmaker Kevin Woods. Although well received by plenty (and not so well received by some) of reviewers, I know that's not where I need to be. I've also made over 20 crappy comedy shorts during my time 'in the game' as the street kids say in South Dakota. I've figured out that that's what I need to be making, only not crappy and not always short.
TEMPORARY INK: AN END OF THE WORLD COMEDY
In progress, currently being written. Set to shoot Spring 2008, this day in the life style comedy is set in a tattoo shop on the brink of Doomsday. Some believe, some don't, and some don't care. Oh, there's also a homeless guy who thinks he's a super-hero, so maybe he'll save the day.
DADE & ALEX ROB A BANK

Complete, you'll see it soon!. It's the story of two losers who lost their jobs and resort to petty crime to make rent...kind of. They may go through with it, if they don't get too drunk in the process.
SKETCH COMEDY: THE MOVIE
No budget. Zero. It's a rule. Shot over the course of two months, or whenever we hit the 90 minute mark. A feature comprised of many nonsensical and some sensical shorts and one slightly larger short. Think KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE but with less funny, I mean seriously, that movie's a fucking classic. Includes a slew of local actors, and a few guest directors. Enjoy it hopefully by the end of Summer.
SURVIVAL
COMPLETE! Now seeking distribution! Rufus and Charlie don't mind visitors, especially college kids wandering around the woods that surround their family home. They really don't mind torturing and killing them, either. Look for it soon on store shelves!
